The Annual Interfaith Symposium (AIS) is organized by the CISEA to serve as a platform for Christian, Muslim and Traditional leaders to deliberate on, and offer some solutions to, issues of common concern. The expectation is that whiles mobilizing a religious voice to speak to social, political, environmental and economic concerns, the AIS additional serves as a platform to enhance interreligious awareness, peaceful co-existence and collaboration.
The symposium has over the years had ministers of state, national heads of Churches and Muslim groups, traditional leaders, and leaders of civil society organisation participate and reflect on possible solutions to various societal problems related to corruption, violence, environmental care, elections, justice, political participation, citizenship, religious extremism and morality.
